Tainted Corals series,

2019, watercolour on paper, 30x22 inches

Terrain generation through the properties of watercolour.

A study in abstraction to representation using innate properties of watercolour.

In recent times, one of the understated effects of CO2 emission is ocean acidification. Ocean acidification is the lowering of ocean pH due to continuous absorption of atmospheric CO2. My artwork shows how ocean acidification threatens coral reef and marine biome, such as oysters, clams, sea urchins and others. This series is a grazed representation of a huge subject.
